Understanding Discovery of Electronic Health Records and Audit Trails

Michael J. Foley, Esq.
The Foley Law Firm, Scranton

Electronic health records have become the dominant tool for communication between providers, supplementing aspects of verbal communication about decision-making, follow-up and transition of care. Electronic health records raise unique authenticity issues in medical malpractice cases because of the inability to detect changes by simple observation. This webinar will provide you with the legal background to pursue proper legal discovery of electronic health records and audit trails. The program will provide up-to-date discussion of the range of legal issues that medical malpractice litigants have to overcome in obtaining audit trails of electronic health records.

This program is restricted to plaintiff’s attorneys only.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, Sept. 8

Prior to the webinar, we will email you links to join the program on Zoom and download the materials.
